What this site does
RoofingCap is a free ridge cap estimator for homeowners, DIYers, and contractors. You can use it without an account. The math runs in your browser.
What you enter
Roof shape, length, width, pitch, and material stay on the page so the totals can update. Moving a slider does not send that information to a RoofingCap server. Copy and print stay on your device. We do not ask for your name, and we do not sell personal information.
Saved plans and shared links
Your last plan is kept in this browser’s local storage so it is still there when you come back. The same numbers appear in the page address, which is what the “Share this estimate link” button copies. Clearing site data in your browser removes the saved plan.
Advertising and cookies
The site shows no ads and sets no advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
There is no mailing list. To reach us, email hello@roofingcap.com.
Estimates
Estimates are for planning purposes only. They are not a bid, a contract, or an inspection.
